If you have a friend with Bipolar Disorder and paranoia

More info…
When the person who suffers from Bipolar Disorder is being medicated properly, they will appear to be perfectly normal. Bipolar Disorder, formerly known as Manic-Depressive Disorder, is one of those illnesses where, if you know a patient fairly well, you can often tell, or suspect, that they are “off their meds.”

help, my girlfriend is paranoid. She has become violent, calls numbers that she knows and is looking at every piece of paper in the house, thinking I am cheating or other things. Help, what do I do? I love her very much and I am worried. She does not remember simple things, now she is doing meth once in a while, but acts like this off and on regardless of the drug. I know the meth is a big part of it, but I don’t know what to do… she seems to be SOMEONE ELSE!!, and I cannot talk to her!!! HELP PLEASE!! I am even scared to be typing when she’s not watching!!!!!! I have done nothing to suggest infidelityj or anything – her thoughts are seemingly crazy!! help me please!!! call me #REMOVED and be sure to tell her why you are calling, because she might get violent thinking something!!! HELP!!!

    Ryan,

We can’t call your house or your girlfriend, but if you want to talk to someone about her addiction and possibly getting her help, try calling some of the numbers on the site. We add them as resources to find people help.
